There's a lot to do. Might as well be comfortable.
One of the first things people notice about Vertical Screen is our casual dress code. The suit and tie are relics of the past in our jeans and sneakers workplace. We move fast. We work hard. We get a lot done. We think you should be able to wear your favorite t-shirt while you work, because to us, comfort equals productivity.
At Vertical Screen, we aren't hung up on hierarchy, and it makes us more flexible than most companies. There aren't multiple layers of approval to wade through. Decisions are made quickly, and resources are put in place right away, so it's easy to adjust to changing client needs or respond to a shift in the marketplace.
We welcome suggestions. As part of our continual improvement effort, we ask employees to share their ideas on how an existing process can be tweaked to be more efficient, on how to save time or resources or on anything that can help us better serve our clients. Just because it's always been done that way doesn't mean it always has to be done that way. No idea is too small.
And most of all, we never take our eye off the ball. Our mission is to exceed client expectations. That drives everything we do. We choose people for our team who have the skills and desire to help clients. We create processes that help us work accurately and effectively so we can turn information around faster. We leverage the latest technology to offer clients new tools and services. And we never stop thinking about how to do things better.
