Our Commitment to the Environment
One cup closer to a greener world
Vertical Screen's commitment to sustainability is obvious, even before you walk through our front door. There are 900 solar panels perched on the roof of our Warminster facility, which generate 163 kilowatts — 20 percent of our building's electricity.
When you come inside, you'll notice that paper and Styrofoam cups are nowhere to be found. Employees sip drinks from reusable containers. Eliminating disposable cups seems like a small step. But, one less cup per employee per day that ends up in a landfill makes a big impact.
Walk around our Warminster offices and you'll see lots of green features. A living plant wall emits oxygen, providing fresh air to our main office space (plus it's pretty cool to look at). Huge windows illuminate our offices with natural daylight, cutting down on the need for artificial light. Recycled rain water flushes our toilets, preserving fresh water.
Our Warminster facility is LEED Platinum Certified, the highest sustainability designation granted by the U.S. Green Building Council. In fact, it is the greenest building in Pennsylvania. So, just by coming to work every day, our employees are part of an effort to reduce the company’s use of energy, fuel, water and materials wherever possible.
